The holidays are filled with celebrations, food, and busy days. It’s important to care for your health during these times, including your oral health. Here are some simple tricks to care for your teeth during the holidays.

Routine

The days are everchanging during the holidays but it’s important to stick with your regular dental routine. This means brushing your teeth twice a day, flossing, and rinsing with mouthwash. Usually, people spend the holidays eating rich and delicious food and drinks. These things affect your dental health, but with regular brushing, you’re teeth with stay happy and healthy!

Watch What You Eat

We’re not telling you to turn down holiday treats and tasteful food, but rather just be mindful of what you’re eating. Overindulging in alcohol, sweets, and sugar has a great effect on your overall oral health. These foods can hide in your teeth without proper brushing and can turn into plaque. If plaque is ignored it can turn into tartar, and so on. By being mindful of what you’re eating you are caring for your health!
